    “Close Games”

Parity by any other – throw in 20 rookies Kaycee in 2008 and one can see how 6-8 losses were near as wins otherwise: 2-14 as to 8-8 or 10-6 Chiefs.

Yes, tis clear…crystal: Herm is STILL The Man!

Parity by any other-not really. We had Herm as head coach. Bringing the 31st ranked defense to the table. Kick a field goal and they will hold. Yeah, right. But it was the players and asst. coaches fault, right Herm? Ever notice he never stepped up and said, “My Bad”. RTT0W, you really are backing the wrong nag in this horse race of comment sense. Keep up the postings, it helps the rest of us appreciate our sanity a little more.

Last year the Chiefs lost 7 games by 7 points or less. If they had won all of them then they would have had a 9-7 record. Sometimes that is barely enough to get into the playoffs….sometimes not.

But the fact of the matter is….they lost ALL of them….so is Herm the man….or the goat?

(One of their two wins was by 7 points so I guess Herm and company did win 1 close game….out of 8….not something to claim manhood from.)

Also last year, of our 6 divisional games, 4 of them were 7 points or less.
All 4 were the last 4 divisional games of the season.
One of those 4 we won.
Of the other 2 games earlier in the season we one one against the Donkeys.
The two games we had with the theoretical best team in the West (the Chargers) were lost by 1 point.
The only game we lost by a big margin in our divison was against the Raiders in the second game of the season.
The second game this year will be against the Raiders.

We one one? Uhhhh…I mean we “won one”. Sorry about that. Where is our post editing capability Bob?

Wow rumors are swirling that the Jets may want to trade for Dwayne Bowe… I know that Haley/Pioli would probably trade him since thats what Pioli did in New England… I wonder what they would get for him, 2010 3rd and 7th round draft picks?? LOL, good luck Cassell if they do…

  • August 19, 2009  - Harold C. says:

That would be ridiculous….it would take away the only remaining target for Cassel.

Keep up the great work Coach Haley. ALL of KC is behind you and we know that you will lead us back to glory very soon now.

AND NOW, Clark Hunt has affirmed Todd’s The Man!

  • August 19, 2009  - arrowhead1978 says:

Harold, it would be ridiculous, but such is the patriot way… I can actually imagine that it would happen though, because they (pioli/haley) seem to have a firm grasp on personel and how not to evaluate it… Since right now the team is still 70-80% Herms….

Rin started it – his flock hath affirmed it: Herm is STILL The Man … well done thy fine feathered finks. Mi gente continue to follow He that is me – my wake be their destiny!

    heh heh heh!!!
