NFL Combine – Offensive Tackle

As the NFL heads towards its annual Combine next week, the invitation list helps narrow the field on the top prospects in the country, both seniors and underclassmen. Over the next week we’ll preview and review each position.

There are four or five offensive tackle prospects that will be at the NFL Combine that have potential to be first-round selections. They are topped by Boston College’s Anthony Castonzo (above left) and Wisconsin’s Gabe Carimi (above right).

Along with Colorado’s Nate Solder, Southern Cal’s Tyron Smith and Derek Sherrod of Mississippi State, they are considered potential first round selections.

Among the 33 tackles is David Arkin out of Missouri State. Some teams view Arkin as a better prospect at guard.
