NFL Combine – Special Teams
As the NFL heads towards its annual Combine this week, the invitation list helps narrow the field on the top prospects in the country, both seniors and underclassmen. Over the last week we’ve been previewing and reviewing each position. This is the last of the series.
The kicking game is unlikely to produce many choices in the 2011 NFL Draft. Only 10 specialists have been invited to the NFL Combine. That does not include the top returners who are taking part with their offensive or defensive positions.
The top kicker appears to be Oklahoma State’s Dan Bailey (above left), while one of the top punters is Reid Forrest out of Washington State (above right).
